Kazakhstan
Kazakhstan is a wonderfully diverse country where Kazakhs, Russians, Uzbeks and Ukrainians mix in a unique community.  Most Kazakhs speak Russian, which is the official trade language.  While 70% of the population is Muslim, many express genuine interest in other points of view.  Summer and year-long opportunities available.

Russia
The great bear of Russia defies easy explanations. Russia’s rich cultural heritage stands alongside widespread poverty and corruption.  In the face of hardship, Russians show a wonderful zest for life and celebration.  Come and spend a summer with high-energy youth.  Or, spend a year making friends that will last a lifetime!

Southern Caucasus
Many years ago, Silk Road merchants traveled the beautiful valleys of the Southern Caucasus.  Today, this region’s growing economy centers on vast oil reserves.  Modern cities attract students seeking new ideas.  Although they are predominantly Muslim, these students welcome cross-cultural friendships.  Year-long opportunities only.

Ukraine
